Job summary

Jabil in Chihuahua, Mexico seeks an operations leader to drive continuous improvement, manage a Workcell, and align with customer and business unit goals. You will recruit, coach, and evaluate staff, set measurable targets, and communicate with Functional Managers.

Responsibilities include defining resource needs, cost management, forecasting, and ensuring safety and quality. A bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; and five years experience, one year in a supervisory role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and retention of Workcell staff and communication of requirements to Functional Managers.
• Coach and mentor Workcell team members daily to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer.
• Establish clear measurable goals and objectives to determine individual and team results; provide ongoing feedback to managers.
• Drive continuous improvement in key operational metrics and coordinate activities of large teams.
• Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and adapt communication style as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred; and five years experience, one year in a supervisory role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
