Job summary

Jabil in Mexico, Jalisco region, is seeking candidates for a training path to become a Workcell Manager. You will lead a cell, ensure production programs meet quantity and mix, and drive improvements in productivity and quality while controlling costs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with support departments, planning work to align with DRP and ISO standards, and contributing to the development of the workcell's budget and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree; 5 years experience in at least 2 operations areas: Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Materials, Finance or HR.
• Experience in high-volume electronic manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the workcell team to meet project goals and production programs.
• Plan work to comply with production programs at optimal cost.
• Help continuous productivity and quality improvements, reducing waste and rework.
• Ensure compliance with DRP and ISO9000, QS9000, ISO14000 systems.
• Assist in budget development and performance management.
