SLB is seeking a Data & Infrastructure Engineer in Mexico City to deliver L1/L2 support for wellsite infrastructure and digital drilling apps. You will deploy, configure and monitor EDGE devices, maintain network connectivity, and troubleshoot data interfaces in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

You will collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, product, and field teams to ensure service continuity, participate in onboarding activities, and keep thorough documentation updated.

Formación

• Education: 4 yrs IT related degree.
• English Level: Fluent / conversational level.
• Experience: 3 to 10 yrs in networking, infrastructure support, systems administration, or technical operations environments.
• Experience providing L1/L2 technical support.
• Experience network deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to industrial networks, OT, or real-time ops environments preferred.
• Experience working in a 24/7 support environment desirable.
• CCNA certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide L1/L2 support for wellsite infrastructure and digital drilling applications.
• Support deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of EDGE devices and associated systems.
• Configure and maintain network connectivity, including VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and IP addressing.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data interfaces such as WITSML, OPC-UA, Modbus TCP, and related protocols.
• Manage incidents, service requests, escalations, and technical documentation through ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, product, and field operations teams to ensure service continuity.
• Participate in rig onboarding, deployment readiness activities, and infrastructure support projects.
• Maintain operational procedures, knowledge articles, and technical documentation.
