CBM360TIV Mexico seeks an experienced IT Services Engineer to maintain secure IT infrastructure across offshore platforms and field sites, support SCADA/DCS connectivity, and ensure reliable communications for energy facilities.

You will handle network administration, Windows Server environments, and industrial cybersecurity while coordinating with multinational partners. Offshore or remote site support experience is preferred and Spanish is mandatory for regulatory compliance in Mexico.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA, Microsoft, or equivalent) preferred.

CBM360TIV Mexico is seeking an experienced IT Services Engineer to support offshore and onshore oil & gas operations. The role focuses on maintaining secure, reliable IT infrastructure, supporting industrial control systems connectivity, and ensuring uninterrupted communication across energy facilities.

Reporting To

IT Manager / Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support network infrastructure, servers, and end-user systems
• Ensure secure connectivity for offshore platforms and field sites
• Support SCADA/DCS system network environments
• Implement cybersecurity measures aligned with industrial standards
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and communication system issues
• Maintain IT documentation, backups, and disaster recovery procedures

Education & Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA, Microsoft, or equivalent) preferred

Experience

• Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in IT infrastructure within oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
• Offshore or remote site support experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Network administration (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls)
• Windows Server & virtualization platforms
• Industrial network protocols awareness
• Cybersecurity and data protection compliance
• Hardware & communication systems support

Languages

• Spanish (mandatory – operational and regulatory requirement in Mexico)
• English (required for coordination with multinational partners)
