Qualifications

• Minimum education level: Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience leading a logistics team and implementing lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to personnel engaged in inventory management (receiving, material handling and shipping).
• Ensure accurate receiving of components from suppliers using Faurecia’s 7 Inventory Basics.
• Properly store raw components in designated areas using visual management to communicate shortages to planning team.
• Implement FIFO in warehouse to minimize obsolescence due to product changes.
• Develop and execute manufacturing and finished goods delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare standard work instructions detailing material management and logistics processes.
• Oversee all material management activities from component receipt to delivery of a completed unit.
• Interview, hire, train, and supervise employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance.
• Mobilize and develop employees to optimize performance and growth.
• Define measurable indicators to track performance and drive improvement.
• Lead continual improvement events and communicate issues to Plant Management.
• Implement lean principles in Production Control and Logistics activities.
• Develop Employee Empowerment Fundamentals on shop floor and encourage operator-driven improvement.
• Participate in Quick Response and Continuous Improvement (QRCI) to reduce Missed Deliveries per Million.
• Maintain 5S in all areas.
