Job summary

Forvia seeks a Warehouse Manager in San Luis Potosí to lead the logistics team and ensure accurate material handling from receiving to shipping. You will implement lean practices and FIFO to reduce waste and obsolescence, while developing schedules aligned with customer requirements.

You will also create standard work, supervise hiring and training, and drive performance with clear metrics. Fluency in English and a Bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a logistics team and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
• Proven ability to manage inventory levels to support production while maximizing turns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to personnel engaged in receiving, material handling and shipping.
• Ensure accurate receiving of components from suppliers using 7 Inventory Basics.
• Store raw components properly with visual management to signal shortages.
• Implement FIFO to minimize obsolescence due to product changes.
• Develop and execute delivery schedules for manufacturing and finished goods.
• Prepare standard work instructions detailing material management and logistics processes.
• Oversee all material management activities from receipt to delivery of a completed unit.
• Interview, hire, train, and develop employees; plan and direct work; appraise performance.
• Define measurable indicators to track performance and drive improvement.
• Lead continuous improvement events using QRCI to reduce misses per million.
