Job summary

Forvia in Mexico is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee material flow from receipt to shipping, ensuring accurate inventory and timely deliveries. You will lead a team and implement lean practices to drive continuous improvement, coordinating with planning to meet customer requirements.

This role resides in an on-site warehouse in San Luis Potosí, offering growth within a global mobility leader and exposure to dynamic manufacturing environments, KPIs, and structured training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience leading a logistics/warehouse team.
• Proven ability to implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate inventory management activities (receiving, handling, shipping).
• Ensure accurate receiving of components and timely reception of goods.
• Maintain visual management for stock levels and shortages; communicate with material planning.
• Lead FIFO implementation to minimize obsolescence from product changes.
• Develop schedules for manufacturing and finished goods delivery in line with customer needs.
• Prepare standard work instructions detailing material management and logistics processes.
• Oversee all material management activities from receipt to delivery of finished units.
• Interview, hire, train, and develop staff; manage performance and growth.
