Job summary

Forvia is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator in Mexico to manage end-to-end inventory from receipt to shipping, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership of a logistics team, strong Lean Manufacturing knowledge, excellent MS Office skills, and a proactive approach to improving processes and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience leading a logistics team and implementing lean manufacturing to drive continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to manage inventory levels and support production while maximizing inventory turns.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to personnel engaged in inventory management (receiving, material handling and shipping).
• Ensure accurate receiving of components from suppliers and timely reception of goods.
• Store raw components properly using visual management tools and communicate shortages to material planning.
• Implement FIFO in warehouse to minimize obsolescence and support production changes.
• Develop and execute delivery schedules in line with customer requirements.
• Prepare standard work instructions detailing material management and logistics processes.
• Oversee all activities related to material management from receipt to finished unit delivery.
• Interview, hire, train, and manage staff; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance.
