Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to inventory management staff (receiving, material handling, shipping).
• Ensure accurate receiving of components from suppliers and timely reception of goods.
• Store raw components in designated areas using visual management to signal shortages to planning.
• Implement FIFO and lean principles to minimize obsolescence and optimize material flow.
• Develop and execute production and finished goods delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare standard work instructions detailing material management and logistics processes.
• Oversee all material management activities from receipt to delivery of completed units.
• Interview, hire, train, and manage warehouse staff; assign work and appraise performance.
