Gentherm México seeks a Value Stream Leader II to manage end-to-end value stream performance in our Mexico automotive operations. You will lead group leaders, drive Lean initiatives, ensure safety and quality standards, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet productivity and delivery goals.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, strong leadership and Lean know-how, and bilingual Spanish/English for Tier 2 operations in LATAM.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience in team leadership, shift supervision, or production management.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and quality systems.
• Advanced communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred, especially for Tier 2 operations in Mexico or LATAM.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate activities of group leaders to meet production schedules and KPIs.
• Collaborate with support departments to reach targets and resolve issues.
• Maintain visual management boards and dashboards reflecting performance vs. targets.
• Own value stream performance and drive accountability for results.
• Promote and implement continuous improvement aligned with Lean principles.
• Ensure compliance with Internal Work Regulations and company standards.
• Ensure all manufacturing activities are conducted by trained personnel.
• Follow approved procedures and standardized work instructions.
• Contribute to plant goals and strategic objectives.
• Maintain communication with shift counterparts for continuity.
• Approve personnel actions such as evaluations, permits, and disciplinary measures.
• Submit staffing requisitions to maintain headcount.
• Foster a professional and safe work environment.
• Halt production if safety/quality/compliance issues arise.
• Report unsafe equipment/tools and coordinate with Maintenance.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering within the PCP execution.
• Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001/45001 standards.
• Ensure understanding of customer-specific requirements, especially Zero Defects.
