SKF Group seeks a Transport, Customs & Customer Service Manager in Mexico to lead our logistics, foreign trade, and client relations operations. You will manage transportation and customs teams to ensure on-time and in-full deliveries while complying with trade laws, quality, and safety standards.

You will act as the core liaison between internal clients, warehouses, SKF suppliers, and transportation providers to maximize customer satisfaction and optimize supply chain resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, International Business, Logistics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience 4+ years in similar positions.
• Advanced English (Fluent).

Transport, Customs & Customer Service Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an highly skilled and strategic Transport, Customs & Customer Service Manager to lead our logistics, foreign trade, and client relations operations. In this role, you will manage transportation and customs teams to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries while strictly complying with international trade laws, quality, and EHS standards.

You will act as the core liaison between internal clients, warehouses, suppliers, and transportation providers to maximize customer satisfaction and optimize supply chain resources.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Logistics Optimization

• Lead and manage the transportation and customs teams to ensure full compliance with customer delivery requirements (On Time & In Full).
• Optimize necessary resources through strategic planning, organization, leadership, and operational control with a strong service-oriented approach.
• Supervise, monitor, and manage daily transportation operations and information flow across the supply chain.

Customs & Foreign Trade Compliance

• Ensure all foreign trade activities strictly comply with the current legal framework.
• Guarantee the proper application of digital platforms, tools, and regulatory programs to achieve company objectives.

Customer Service & Performance Management

• Administer customer service operations under the responsibility of Logistics & Demand Chain Mexico.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal clients, warehouses, SKF suppliers, and transportation providers.
• Generate, analyze, and monitor customer performance metrics and management reports.
• Analyze supply chain data to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Standards, Quality & EHS Compliance

• Comply with all legal safety, hygiene, and environmental requirements applicable to activities, processes, and services in Mexico.
• Adhere to international quality management systems (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949) and corporate safety/environmental systems (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001, and ISO 50001).

Requirements

• Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, International Business, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Experience Required: 4+ years in similar positions
• Advanced English (Fluent)

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Quality & EHS Management: Deep knowledge of Quality Systems and EHS Management Systems
• Risk & Waste Management: Expert in Hazard & Risk Identification, Environmental Aspects/Impacts, and comprehensive Waste Management (hazardous, special handling, municipal solid).
• Continuous Improvement: Proven experience with problem-solving tools (A3, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and continuous improvement frameworks (Business Excellence).
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of legal requirements, crisis management, emergency plans, and customer-specific regulations.
