ARSAN International Consulting Group seeks a Logistics Supervisor to oversee safe, timely transportation of machinery, raw materials, and finished goods at optimal cost in Monterrey.

You will manage traffic operations, coordinate with suppliers, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with customs and border crossing procedures.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, 5 years of logistics experience, strong negotiation and report skills, and proficiency in English.

Formación

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years in logistics/transport.
  • English proficiency at professional level.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing logistics and budgeting.

Responsabilidades

  • Compile required information for traffic operations at the start of the plant project.
  • Gather necessary information for the initial movements of Machinery and Equipment, Raw Materials, Indirect, and Services in a timely manner.
  • Set up all necessary operations for traffic in the TMS system.
  • Develop required reports in collaboration with IT for procurement and warehouse operations during the initial phase.
  • Operate exclusively with suppliers approved by the US company.
  • Define metrics (KPIs) for the area and carry out monthly reports and action plans for improvement.
  • Prepare and adhere to the departmental budget.
  • Ensure orders are sent completely and according to the scheduled date in SAP.
  • Ensure orders are delivered on time to the end customer, ensuring the crossing process at the border.
  • Maintain electronic folders for each order with their corresponding documents, including shipping documents, BOL, packing lists, and commercial invoices.
  • Develop an annual savings plan and monitor its progress in a subsequent phase.
  • Collaborate with Quality to address supplier rejections and transportation damage claims.
  • Provide necessary information using the Total Landed Cost methodology to the procurement department.
  • Prepare periodic activity reports.
  • Communicate and coordinate any production shortages caused by transport damage, conducting root cause analysis and finding solutions.
  • Keep the transporters' price base updated.
  • Review and analyze exception reports for timely payment to transporters and avoid any delivery interruptions.
  • Define continuous improvement activities to optimize process efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Perform other activities directed by management.
  • Provide support to other Supply Chain functions at Plant Monterrey, Global.

The Logistics Supervisor ensures the safe and timely transportation of machinery, equipment, raw materials, and finished products at the best cost. They are responsible for ensuring all merchandise is transported safely and guaranteeing that equipment is not involved in unsafe situations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5 years in Logistics/Transport, Foreign Trade, applicable to transportation function, Budget Control, and Administration in the industrial manufacturing environment.
  • English: Professional Level
