Ford México seeks a Transmission Core Engineer to develop ICE, power split, and BEV powertrains. You will work with transmission and systems experts to apply rigorous systems engineering, signoff, and DFMEA practices to meet customer and regulatory needs.

You will model with MBSE tools, own FMA artifacts, and drive documentation and governance from concept through production hand-off, ensuring robust, compliant powertrain designs.

Formación

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years in transmission or power unit development.
• 3+ years with FMA development (DFMEA, RCL, P-Diagram).
• Experience with SysML and RAAML specifications.
• Advanced knowledge of MBSE tools and modeling.
• Knowledge of transmission/eDrive components and failure modes.
• Strong Systems Engineering capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Modeling & Simulation using MBSE tools for DFMEA and powertrain design.
• Own FMA documentation (DFMEA, Boundary Diagrams, DV Plans).
• Govern system documentation and architecture across programs.
• Ensure designs comply with design rules and regulations.
• Support hand-off from concept to production development.
• Facilitate design reviews across functions to resolve issues.
