Flex in Guadalajara, North Campus is seeking a Test Engineer to implement and maintain cost-efficient testing for electronics, software, and equipment. You will work under the Production Manager to design, calibrate, and validate test systems and data collection.

Responsibilities include directing test activities, analyzing results, developing fixtures, and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve failures and improve yield.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-tech industries.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, PCB assemblies, schematics, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ICT, Functional Test, ESS, and System-Level Testing.

If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.## Job Summary*To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Test Engineer** located in **Guadalajara, North Campus**.*Reporting Production Manager, the Test Engineer *role* will response for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment.**What a typical day looks like:*** Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.* Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, and record test data.* Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.* Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.* May develops or use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.* Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as problem solving techniques.* Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.* Perform and support equipment verification and integration in production.* Create and maintain process documentation.* Actively search for new technologies or procedures in the test sector.* Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.**The experience we’re looking to add to our team:*** Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.* Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-tech industries.* Strong understanding of electronics, PCB assemblies, schematics, and manufacturing processes.* Develop, modify, and support In-Circuit Test (ICT), Functional Test, ESS, and System-Level Test solutions.* Design and validate test hardware, software, fixtures, interfaces, and diagnostic tools.* Perform DFT (Design for Testability) analysis, failure analysis, and troubleshooting.* Develop test plans, procedures, quotations, and documentation.* Support automation and programming using tools such as Python, LabVIEW, Perl, or similar languages.* Coordinate third-party vendors for test development, enhancements, and fixture design.* Analyze software and hardware failures and implement corrective actions.**Requirements*** Experience with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, component testers, and measuring instruments.* Knowledge of software development, automation, and simulation tools.* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.* Leadership & Business Impact* Works independently with minimal supervision.* Leads projects, mentors team members, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.* Makes technical decisions that impact multiple functions and operational performance.**Technical Skills*** ICT, Functional Test, ESS, and System-Level Testing.* Electronics troubleshooting and failure analysis.* PCB, schematics, components, and test fixture development.* Programming and test automation.* Statistical analysis and data-driven problem solving.**What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:*** Competitive Salary.* Life & Medical insurance.* Christmas Bonus.* Food Coupons.* Saving Fund.**CV19**## ## Job CategoryProduction EngineeringRequired Skills:Optional Skills:Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
