Job summary

Velotic seeks a Commercial Proposal Manager to define and lead strategy for high-quality proposals across global software and services. You will manage RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, and related contracts, coordinating stakeholders to move opportunities from request to contract completion.

You will transform complex inputs into winning proposals, focusing on profitability, risk assessment, and market differentiation, while guiding cross-functional teams and ensuring governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in proposal management or related roles.
• Ability to manage high-visibility, complex proposals with multiple deadlines.
• Executive level influence without direct reporting authority.
• Strong commercial judgment to identify risks, options, and solutions.
• Deep working knowledge of pricing, terms, contract review, and internal approvals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/quoting/proposal systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal development and commercial deal execution for high-value opportunities.
• Partner with sales and cross-functional stakeholders to define win themes and differentiated offerings.
• Facilitate bid/no-bid meetings to validate solution fit and assess risk.
• Develop proposal plans, coordinate cross-functional resources, and drive execution.
• Coordinate technical, commercial, and services inputs ensuring coherent responses.
• Advise on customer-facing documents with emphasis on profitability and terms.
• Assess risks with Legal and Finance, and develop mitigation strategies with approvals.
• Guide pricing reviews and obtain required business approvals per DOA.
• Manage proposal-related contracts, negotiations, and term alignment.
• Define standards for proposal records for traceability and audit readiness.
