Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Proposal Specialist in Mexico City to understand client needs, develop technical and commercial proposals, and manage pricing and risk assessments. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and logistics to deliver accurate quotations on time.

The role involves leading discussions with clients, coordinating teams, and driving process improvements in proposal development while ensuring profitability for the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and high-voltage equipment (transformers, breakers, substations).
• Understanding of circuits, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of cost estimation methods and project management tools, plus basic financial concepts.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
• Advanced English; basic German is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client requirements to define the proposal plan and estimate effort.
• Establish work teams and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and logistics.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals and perform pricing analyses.
• Prepare quotes, track status, and ensure deadlines and delivery.
• Lead client discussions during clarification and contract negotiations.
• Drive continuous improvement of the proposal process with cross-functional teams.
