Job summary

GE Vernova Technology Solutions Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. seeks a Lead Technical Proposal Engineer to architect winning EPC bids for substations and renewables, translating client needs into competitive, high-margin solutions.

You will lead the ITO phase, coordinates BOMs and cost estimates, and collaborate with engineering, sourcing and proposal teams to deliver robust bid packages while ensuring standards compliance and technical differentiation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in substation design, specifications and estimating.
• 2+ years in technical proposal writing and management.

Responsibilities

• Architect winning technical solutions (configuration, performance, economics).
• Lead the ITO phase with scope, BOM and cost estimation for engineering, testing, and commissioning.
• Design reusable methodologies and templates to improve bid cost accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Proposal Managers, Sourcing and multi-discipline teams on bid packages.
• Translate technical capabilities into clear, value-driven customer presentations.
• Perform studies to verify design integrity and ensure standards compliance (IEEE, NESC, ANSI, IEC).
