Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced procurement professional to act as a business partner for multiple units across North America. You will deploy category strategies, identify cost savings, and drive project plans in plants, distribution centers and offices.

You will conduct spend analyses, negotiate terms, and ensure alignment with contracts. The role requires strong English, six years in procurement, and solid Excel/ERP/MRP skills to improve efficiency and reduce total cost of

Qualifications

> Bachelor’s degree in related field.
> Minimum of six years in planning, project management, purchasing, or procurement; ideally in a manufacturing environment.
> Proficient in English.
> Proficient in Excel and ERP/MRP; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Be a true business partner for the assigned business unit(s).
Understand procurement’s role and how this enables true business success.
Understand business priorities and translate into category strategies.
Drive spend analysis to identify what we buy, from whom, where and how.
Lead initiatives and negotiations for business unit-specific categories and projects.
