Johnson Controls in Mexico is seeking a recent graduate for an entry-level procurement role to support Category Managers and Buyers by executing the Category Strategy and streamlining processes. You will engage in data-driven analyses to uncover opportunities and learn the sub-categories while building foundational procurement capabilities.

Ideal candidates will have a related-field degree, strong Excel and data skills, familiarity with RFQ processes, and a drive for continuous improvement

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; engineering degrees preferred due to drawing interpretation.
• Prior procurement exposure is a plus.
• Knowledge of RFQ processes is beneficial.
• Strong MS Excel skills (including arrays, INDEX/MATCH) are required.
• Analytical, data-driven mindset with problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support Category Managers and Buyers in executing the Category Strategy and streamlining processes.
• Assist with supplier scorecard improvements and market intelligence activities.
• Contribute to Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) using Ariba and keep contracts up to date.
• Support Business Continuity Plans (BCP) with financial assessments and sustainability surveys.
• Build and maintain a Master Supplier Contact list for GP Procurement.
• Perform other procurement duties as assigned.

What will you do?

In this role, you willbe responsible forenabling our Category Managers and PBU Buyers with an effective execution of our Category Strategy, by streamlining processes, drivingautomationand performing meaningful analyses, while learning the commodity and preparing yourself for increased roles within our organization. This role isa create opportunityfor recent graduates/entry level into Procurement.

How will you do it?

• Support Market Intelligence activities and Economics measurements
• Support Supplier scorecardimprovements
• Support our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) activities by leveraging Ariba to upload and keep contracts up to date.
• Support Business Continuity Plans (BCP) by deploying actions such as Financial Assessments, Sustainability Surveys,ensuringcontractsare executed, among others.
• Build and maintain a Master SupplierContactlistsforallofGPProcurement.
• Otherprocurementduties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree inrelatedfield.Engineeringdegrees preferred as the candidate will be required to read and interpret drawings, as well as building a deep knowledge of the assignedsub-categories.
• Prior experience in Procurement is a plus.
• General understandingofRFQprocessis a plus.
• Strong MS Softwareskillsrequired–advanced excel preferred (e.g.Arrays, INDEX/MATCH).
• Ability to drive continuous improvement,byidentifyingopportunities,streamlining processes,andutilizingLean/Qualitytools to reduce waste and maximize throughput.
• Relevant experience/knowledge in DataAnalytics
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Data skills such as querying databases (SQL, HQL), automation (PowerAutomate/VBA)oranalysis(Python-pandas) are a plus.
• Ability to learn and understand the business and the assigned categories, to develop business judgment, which will allow the candidate to better execute and generate value for JCI.
• Business/conversationalEnglish isa mustdue to the nature of the role.
