Job summary

Autoliv in Mexico seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to support the HR Director and Central Functions, driving strategic HR initiatives, managing cross-functional projects, and delivering HR solutions.

The role covers workforce planning, merit processes, talent development, succession, leadership training, labor relations, and compliance with US and Mexico laws, plus data analytics, employee relations, and health and safety collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or business degree.
• Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience including business partnering.
• 5+ years in HR management and leadership.
• Strong HR disciplines including talent management, organizational development, and employee relations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Experience supporting central functions in a global organization.
• Demonstrated experience in unionized manufacturing or industrial environments with labor relations practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic HR initiatives and partner with the HR Director.
• Manage cross-functional projects and provide HR support to central functions.
• Oversee workforce planning and annual processes including merit, talent development, succession, and leadership training.
• Support leaders on US and Mexico laws, rules and processes.
• Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports for senior leadership.
• Track turnover trends and provide retention solutions.
• Manage terminations/RIFs, PIPs, performance issues, severance and legal follow‑up.
• Coordinate with leaders in SCM, IT, Health & Safety, and global reporting employees.
• Deep-dive into safety events and partner with site safety leaders.
