Job summary

Wesco, a global distributor, is seeking a Customer Service/Order Administrator to support daily order processing, delivery coordination, and customer communication from our Chihuahua, Mexico team.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, proactive issue resolution, and maintaining positive relationships with customers and internal teams. You will apply Wesco's philosophy in all actions, and collaborate across departments to ensure on-time delivery and high service quality.

Responsibilities

• Know and apply Wesco philosophy, values and vision in all business decisions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Wesco customer requirements and distribution methods.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and internal departments.
• Provide excellent customer service by building relationships through fast, accurate processing.
• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries on orders, availability and delivery plans.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues per policies and work instructions.
• Provide LTA contract administration support as assigned.
• Process, monitor and release incoming orders; communicate on pending orders daily to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prioritize orders by urgency, product specs, and shipping needs.
• Process daily release orders and verify against contracts.
• Process RMAs as requested.
• Ensure proper quality flow-downs for contract reviews.
• Update shipping/delivery status on customer site and ensure high delivery quality.
• Assist with shopping and inventory locator service requests.
• Enter pricing into databases to support quotes and orders.
• Prepare and follow through on expedite requests.
• Train and mentor colleagues in the sales department.
• Perform ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
• Attend training or meetings as required.
