Apptegy is hiring a Staff Data Engineer to design, build, and evolve data platforms with Snowflake at the core. You’ll own pipelines, medallion architecture, and semantic models while driving performance, cost optimization, and reliability.

You will mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and collaborate with BI and analytics teams to deliver AI-ready data products across the organization.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Expert-level Snowflake proficiency and cost governance.
• Strong data modeling fundamentals and production-grade pipelines.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead design reviews.
• Experience with Tableau as BI consumption layer.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and own high-impact data pipelines and platform primitives with Snowflake at the core.
• Develop and evolve the medallion architecture (Bronze–Gold–Semantic) and semantic models for BI access.
• Lead end-to-end data platform enhancements including ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption.
• Guide optimization for performance, scalability, and cost while codifying patterns for the team.
• Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and communicate technical direction to stakeholders.
