AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to partner with an internal data team on a Customer Data Platform initiative. You will build Snowflake semantic structures, clean and transform customer and behavioral datasets, and develop AI-ready data models for a growing retail brand.

Expect production-grade SQL and Python, strong documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. Eastern Time overlap is preferred.

Formación

• 4+ years writing complex, optimized SQL and working with semi-structured data.
• Strong Python: modular scripts for data manipulation, automation, and data quality checks.
• Hands-on experience in at least one major cloud data ecosystem (AWS, Snowflake, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong stakeholder communication: translate business needs into technical specs and collaborate with partners.
• Rigorous documentation: maintain data dictionaries, model descriptions, and inline code comments.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with internal data team to clean, transform, and structure datasets in Snowflake for the Customer Data Platform.
• Develop Snowflake views, semantic models, and metadata to support AI agents and BI tools.
• Engineer datasets for retail initiatives and analytics, including inventory and customer data.
• Write production-grade SQL and Python for data wrangling and extraction.
• Translate ambiguous business requests into clean, structured data models.
• Parse and flatten complex semi-structured data (JSON) from cloud sources.
• Maintain data models, semantic views, and documentation across assets.
• Follow git workflows and data testing protocols.
• Take on additional analytics engineering priorities as needed.
