AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to partner with our internal data team on a Customer Data Platform initiative, building Snowflake semantic structures, cleaning and transforming customer and behavioral datasets, and developing AI-readiness data models for a growing retail brand.

You will write production-grade SQL and Python, build and maintain data models and semantic views in Snowflake, collaborate directly with cross-functional business stakeholders to translate operational needs

Formación

• 4+ years writing complex, optimized SQL and handling semi-structured data.
• Strong Python for data manipulation, automation, and data quality checks.
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud data ecosystem (AWS, Snowflake, GCP or Azure).
• Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to translate business needs into technical specs.
• Disciplined documentation practice with thorough code comments and data dictionaries.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• CDP Data Modeling: clean, transform, and structure datasets in Snowflake for the CDP.
• AI Readiness & Semantic Layer: develop Snowflake views and semantic models for AI/BI tools.
• Ad-Hoc data prep: engineer datasets for retail initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Write production-grade SQL and Python for transformation and wrangling.
• Translate business requests into clean data models and metadata.
• Parse and flatten semi-structured data from cloud sources.
• Maintain data models and semantic views; write data dictionaries and docs.
• Keep code in repos with Git workflows and data testing protocols.
