AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect, build, and scale a modern data platform, designing production‑grade ETL/ELT pipelines and optimizing Snowflake schemas for enterprise analytics.

You will orchestrate workflows using Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster, implement data quality and lineage frameworks, and integrate REST APIs and event‑driven sources while applying CI/CD, Docker, and IaC to data repositories.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with well‑tested code.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, database design, and normalization/denormalization.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake.
• Production experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow/Prefect/Dagster).
• Experience with REST APIs, event‑driven architectures, and batch/streaming pipelines.
• Experience implementing data quality checks, data lineage, and alerting.
• Strong Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code fundamentals.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT workflows for batch and streaming data.
• Design production‑ready Snowflake schemas to optimize analytics.
• Ingest data from third‑party REST APIs and event streams into core storage.
• Maintain and expand workflow pipelines using Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• Implement automated data quality checks, lineage, and alerting frameworks.
• Drive CI/CD, version control, and IaC practices across data repositories.
• Apply software engineering standards, including testing and documentation.
