Danfoss is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for its Apodaca, MX site to lead manufacturing improvements in HVAC/refrigeration assembly.

You will drive productivity, quality, and cost initiatives while collaborating with production, quality, and supply chain teams to deliver reliable, scalable processes. Formación

• 10 years experience in manufacturing engineering in HVAC/refrigeration industry.
• Experience with assembly lines for compressors, evaporators, condensers, air handlers, or food refrigeration.
• Knowledge of process development, continuous improvement, RCA, and production problem-solving.
• Expertise in IATF 16949, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, MSA, SPC/CPK, and calibration.
• Lean Manufacturing (TPS) and Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification or practice.
• Professional English communication across production, quality, engineering, and supply chain.

The Impact You’ll Make

As a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in HVAC and refrigeration assembly processes, you will play a key role in building a world-class production environment that delivers quality, productivity, and reliability for our customers. Your expertise will help drive operational excellence across compressor, evaporator, condenser, air handling unit, and commercial refrigeration manufacturing lines.

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen safety, quality, OEE, and cost performance while supporting the successful introduction of new products and manufacturing technologies. Your work will directly contribute to customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and a zero-defect mindset. Working closely with production, quality, and supply chain teams, you will develop robust manufacturing processes, solve complex production challenges, and help create a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead manufacturing improvement projects focused on productivity, OEE, quality, and cost reduction to enhance operational performance.
• Develop and optimize assembly processes for HVAC and refrigeration products, ensuring stable, efficient, and scalable production.
• Drive problem-solving activities related to customer complaints, process deviations, and production challenges to improve performance and reliability.
• Create and maintain manufacturing and quality documentation, ensuring processes remain controlled, compliant, and continuously improved.
• Support production equipment, shop floor operations, safety initiatives, and new product industrialization activities to enable successful manufacturing execution.

What We’re Looking For

• 10 years experience in manufacturing engineering within the HVAC, air conditioning, refrigeration, or cooling equipment industry, including assembly lines for reciprocating compressors, evaporators, condensers, air handlers, or food refrigeration systems.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing process development, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and production problem-solving.
• Expertise in IATF 16949, quality planning tools, and manufacturing quality systems, including PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, MSA, SPC/CPK, and calibration practices.
• Certification or practical application ofLean Manufacturing (TPS) and Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt methodologies.
• Professional English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across production, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams.
