Job summary

Genpact, a leading AI-enabled technology partner, seeks an Sr. Associate for F&A with strong AR/AP and cash application experience. The role requires collaboration across entities, handling aged receivables, and resolving customer queries while ensuring accurate DRR and SOP updates.

The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid setup in Mexico, with English proficiency and finance-specific certifications or degrees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Experience in AR/AP processes and cash application.
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers and email/ fax invoices.
• Process cash applications and ensure DRR is completed accurately.
• Reconcile orders and validate credits or debits for collections.
• Follow up on disputes and liaise between departments for resolutions.
• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures as needed.

Understanding of all aspects of Cash allocation in accordance with customer remittances including deep validation experience and report out to business. Cash Application Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances. Collaborating closely between all entities of AR (different entities) and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets. Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the AR processes, complete know-how and understanding of the AR value chain. Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference. Create and update the Standard Operations Procedure and other updates received from time to time. Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information. Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications. Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner. Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution.
