Job summary

Infosys is seeking an L2 Application Support Engineer – SFTP & File Transfer Operations in Mexico City, offering hybrid work in a client office. The role focuses on operational support for secure file transfers, batch processing coordination, and incident management across AEBC platforms.

You will monitor file exchanges, investigate failures, and collaborate with vendors and L3 teams to ensure timely processing and data integrity. Strong scripting and ITIL practices are required.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience supporting SFTP platforms and enterprise file transfer solutions.
• Strong experience with SFTP, FTPS, SSH and managed file transfer platforms.
• Experience with batch scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, UC4).
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix command line and shell scripting.
• Experience with file encryption (PGP/GPG) and certificate management.
• Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA and ITIL operational processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound and outbound SFTP transfers across production environments.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve production issues.
• Maintain operational schedules and runbooks for file exchange processes.
• Monitor batch job execution and investigate failures/delays.
• Support incident bridges and RCAs for recurring issues.
• Validate connectivity and post‑implementation verification for releases.
• Identify opportunities to automate monitoring and reporting.
