Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking an L2 Application Support Engineer for SFTP and file transfer operations in Mexico City, with hybrid work in client office. You will ensure secure, reliable file exchanges and coordinate with vendors and L3 teams to resolve production issues.

You will monitor batch processing, investigate failures, and maintain runbooks while supporting incident management and continuous improvement efforts in a dynamic delivery environment.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience supporting SFTP platforms and enterprise file transfer solutions.
• Strong experience with SFTP, FTPS, SSH, and managed file transfer platforms.
• Experience supporting batch scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, UC4 or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix command line and shell scripting.
• Experience with file encryption (PGP/GPG) and certificate management.
• Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA and ITIL operational processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound and outbound SFTP transfers across production environments.
• Validate transmission and receipt of business-critical files.
• Investigate failed, delayed, or incomplete file transfers.
• Coordinate recovery activities with internal teams and partners.
• Maintain operational schedules for file exchange processes.
• Monitor batch job execution and completion status.
• Investigate batch failures and processing delays.
• Validate data reconciliation after batch completion.
• Coordinate restart or recovery activities when required.
• Maintain batch processing documentation.
• Perform L2 diagnosis for SFTP, batch, and file processing incidents.
• Participate in production incident bridges and coordinate with vendors.
• Support RCA activities for recurring issues and maintain Known Error Database entries.
• Validate SFTP connectivity before production releases and update runbooks.
