GSB is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, customize, and optimize ServiceNow platforms remotely from Mexico. You will implement ITSM modules, create automations, and build integrations using REST/SOAP and IntegrationHub.

Candidates should have 3-5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow work, strong JavaScript skills, and CMDB/ITOM familiarity. The role emphasizes securing coding practices, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring platform governance while delivering reliable

• 3-5+ years of ServiceNow development/administration experience.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow scripting and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of ITSM processes and ServiceNow configuration.

• Experience with workflows, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, and automation.
• Knowledge of CMDB and ITOM capabilities.
• Experience troubleshooting ServiceNow production environments.
• Secure coding practices in ServiceNow development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.

• Configure and enhance ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.

• Support ITOM capabilities, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, and CMDB.

• Develop using JavaScript, Glide API, GlideAjax, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Scheduled Jobs.

• Build workflows and automations using Flow Designer / Workflow Editor.

• Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, Scripted REST APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and web services.

• Perform data migration and transformation using Import Sets, Transform Maps, and scripting.

• Troubleshoot scripts, workflows, integrations, and platform performance issues.

• Support upgrades, releases, cloning, patching, and instance maintenance.

• Maintain CMDB data quality and platform governance.

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and documentation.

• Mentor junior developers and promote ServiceNow development best practices.

Required Experience

• 3-5+ years of ServiceNow development/administration experience.

• Strong experience with ServiceNow scripting and JavaScript.

• Solid knowledge of ITSM processes and ServiceNow configuration.

• Experience with ServiceNow integrations and APIs.

• Experience with workflows, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, and automation.

• Knowledge of CMDB and preferably ITOM capabilities.

• Experience troubleshooting and supporting ServiceNow production environments.

• Strong understanding of ServiceNow development standards and secure coding practices.

Nice to Have

• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, or CIS-ITOM.

• Experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, or Orchestration.

• Experience with IntegrationHub and MID Server.

• Experience developing custom ServiceNow applications.

• Experience mentoring developers.

ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).
