GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Technical Proposal Engineer to drive the ITO phase for high-impact EPC bids in the energy sector. You will architect winning solutions, manage BOM and cost estimates, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure technically superior and competitive proposals.

You will apply expertise in HV/EHV substation design, protection & control, SCADA, and power system studies, while traveling up to 20% to support client engagements and site evaluations.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in substation/electrical design, specs and estimating for power gen, transmission or distribution.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in technical proposal writing and management.
• Solid foundation in HV/EHV substation physical design, protection & control, SCADA, and power system studies.
• Proven ability to build consensus and influence stakeholders through clear technical messaging.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% including international travel.

Responsabilidades

• Architect Winning Solutions: develop comprehensive, high-margin EPC bids.
• Drive the ITO phase: define scope, BOM, and cost estimates for engineering, testing, and commissioning.
• Design reusable methodologies, templates, and libraries to improve bid cost estimates and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Proposal Managers, Sourcing, and multi-discipline teams to create robust bid packages.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, value-driven customer presentations.
• Perform studies to verify design integrity and ensure compliance with IEEE, NESC, ANSI, IEC standards.
