GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Application Engineer in Querétaro to drive the Inquiry to Order process, providing technical strategy, design optimization, and cost-aware solutions for power projects. You will coordinate with commercial teams to ensure proposals meet client specs and standards.

You will guide multi-discipline engineers, prepare accurate estimates, and ensure compliance with IEEE/ANSI/NESC/NEC standards, while maintaining strong customer value and competitive positioning.

Formación

• Requires BSc in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years in design, studies, estimating and construction for substations, transmission or power generation.
• 2 years of proposal writing/management experience.
• Up to 20% travel (may include international travel).

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the technical lead for the entire Inquiry to Order phase, interfacing with the commercial team.
• Deliver high-quality technical proposals that meet customer specifications and provide value.
• Ensure accuracy of technical specs, assignments, BOM, and cost estimation for engineering, installation and testing.
• Support subcontractors and power equipment bid packages.
• Assist in customer presentations of technical capabilities and proposals.
