AL7938 GE Grid Solutions, S.A. de C.V. seeks a results-oriented Proposal Engineer with a strong background in electrical infrastructure sales and engineering.

You will manage end-to-end proposals for electrical substations and drive cross-functional collaboration. The role requires leadership in deal reviews, risk assessment, pricing strategy, and coordination with product lines and suppliers. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of tendering experience in T&D / EBOP / Electrical Substation Turnkey projects.
• Strong technical and commercial background in T&D / EBoP Power Generation and industrial market preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all aspects of proposal management, including proposal development, risk management and mitigation, specification compliance, scope development, costing, and calculation of selling price through the EAS (estimate analysis sheet).
• Coordinate between all Product Lines involved and external suppliers and subcontractors; provide leadership during deal reviews to ensure all technical risk, pricing strategies and complete solution are incorporated in scope, cost and proposal wording.
• Support the Bid Manager in the pre-sales process and collaborate with Region Sales and Account Managers to develop commercial strategies and solutions meeting customer requirements and business goals.
• Define target costs and negotiate with internal PLs and external suppliers; drive review of risk elements in technical offers and propose mitigations with other areas.
• Support discussions on strategic opportunities and ensure alignment with product lines and partnerships for civil works and erection scope.
• Lead technical discussions with customers during tender negotiations.
