GE Vernova seeks a Lead Protection & Control Engineer to define and coordinate high‑quality protection schemes for T&D substations, data centers, and BESS projects. You will guide local or remote design teams, ensure integration with SCADA and cybersecurity, and work closely with electrical layout engineers and field personnel.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• P.E. License or EIT with willingness to pursue and acquire P.E certification.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure high quality design of protection schemes for T&D substations, data centers, industrial, and BESS applications.
• Lead a local or remote design team to develop P&C designs (SLD, 3-line diagrams, panel layouts).
• Coordinate P&C with electrical layout engineers, relay setting engineers, site managers, and commissioning teams.
• Interface with vendors to review P&C documentation and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare P&C engineering estimates for proposals; support project execution to meet cost and schedule constraints.
• Perform design calculations for DC battery sizing, voltage drop, and CT/PT/CCVT settings.
