Nextpower is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Mexico City to lead day-to-day structural tasks for foundations of utility-scale PV projects. You’ll manage wind/seismic analyses, develop foundation sizing, and prepare structural documentation for quotes and packages, coordinating with teams in the U.S., India, and other offices.

The role emphasizes international collaboration, advanced design tools, and hands-on design development.

Formación

• BS in Structural Engineering with emphasis on Foundations.
• 3+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with wind, seismic, and foundation loads.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Fluent English required.
• Solar EPC experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IBC/ASCE/ASTM/AISC/ACI.

Responsabilidades

• Produce drawings and calculations for structural design.
• Analyze wind, seismic, and foundation loads.
• Support development phase and cost estimations.
• Coordinate with cross-regional teams and consultants.
• Review deliverables and RFIs; sign/seal documents if required.
• Occasional site visits for Geotech investigations and pile testing.
