Nextpower Inc is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Project Engineering Team in Mexico City, supporting North American markets. You will lead structural analyses for foundations, wind and seismic loads, and deliver design documentation for utility-scale PV projects.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the US, India and other offices; manage schedules, review deliverables, and contribute to design tools and standards.

Formación

• BS in Structural Engineering with emphasis on foundations.
• MS in Structural Engineering is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IBC/ASCE/ASTM/AISC/ACI and other standards.
• Proficiency in finite element software (RISA, STAAD) and dynamic analysis.
• 3+ years of structural engineering experience, solar EPC preferred.
• Experience in designing steel structures and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Produce structural design documentation and calculations for foundations.
• Perform wind, seismic, and foundation analyses and prepare reports.
• Sign/seal documents as required and respond to RFIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions and offices.
• Support development and expansion of design tools and standards.
• Travel for occasional site visits to supervise investigations.
