Job summary

Delinea is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the JIT Proxy team, building secure just-in-time access to customer resources across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will design and implement high-concurrency services, extend proxies for multiple protocols, and deploy on Kubernetes/Azure. Strong collaboration and mentoring skills are valued as you tackle security and performance challenges.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend or distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of networking and secure, scalable APIs.
• Experience with cloud-native tech and Kubernetes ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain highly concurrent services for just-in-time access.
• Extend proxy capabilities across SSH, RDP, Kubernetes, databases, and more.
• Develop distributed systems to enforce tenant policy and identity data.
• Deploy cloud services on Kubernetes and Azure; ship proxy software in customer environments.
• Write clean, secure, well-tested code with focus on reliability and observability.
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Diagnose complex connectivity, security, and performance issues across environments.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to code/design reviews.
