Lyft is seeking a Sr. Security Engineer for Corporate Security to own the security of identity, endpoints, and data flows. The role spans detection engineering, platform operations, and automation to scale security across the company.

You will work across macOS and Windows fleets, implement MFA and phishing-resistant authentication, and drive end-to-end security improvements with engineering teams. This is a hands-on, ownership-driven security engineering role at Lyft.

Formación

• Hands-on experience operating enterprise identity platforms such as Okta, Entra ID, and Duo.
• Experience deploying and tuning EDR tools across macOS and Windows fleets.
• Ability to write detection logic and investigate endpoint telemetry.
• Strong development skills in Python or Go to automate data exchange and response workflows.
• Knowledge of device trust, MFA factor strategy, and lifecycle automation (SCIM/API).

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with teams to apply security best practices during feature rollouts.
• Own the security posture of SSO/MFA platform including policy and phishing-resistant auth.
• Research new attack vectors and develop detections for identity-based threats.
• Deploy, tune, and operate EDR platforms across endpoints while balancing user experience.
• Maintain health of agent fleet and remediation workflows with IT.
• Operate and tune DLP tooling to prevent data exfiltration.
• Integrate corporate security tooling and push telemetry into the data platform.
• Automate response so detection scales without headcount.
• Build relationships with internal and external partners; report on metrics.
• Contribute to on-call rotations and participate in incident postmortems and remediation.
