Job summary

Flix is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting to lead financial integrity and process improvements in our Mexico City finance team. The role emphasizes risk assessment, policy compliance, and collaboration with tax, legal, and system teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years in accounting/finance, a strong IFRS/GAAP background, and proficiency with accounting software and Excel. Bilingual English/Spanish communication is highly valued, and CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate policy and accounting processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and legal, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Interpret and analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
