Job summary

Flix, a dynamic travel tech company, seeks an Expert General Ledger Accountant to strengthen our Central Accounting Team in Mexico City.

The role focuses on accurate GL activities, IFRS reporting, and collaboration with regional and HQ teams to ensure timely closing and compliance.

You'll drive process improvement, partake in finance transformation projects, and support audits in a fast-paced international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 8+ years in accounting or finance with strong GL expertise.
• Proficient in IFRS and financial reporting.
• Experience with Mexican local tax compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Experience in shared services and finance transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead GL financial processes including budgeting and tax coordination.
• Oversee GL activities across entities, ensuring accuracy and control.
• Support audits with documentation and explanations.
• Deliver timely accounting services and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A to drive integration.
• Drive accounting transformation projects and system implementations.
