AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software lifecycle, partnering with product managers, software engineers, and architects to embed quality from the start. You will design and maintain automated tests with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization.

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation (iOS and/or Android).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to embed quality across the SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Promote a right-sized test pyramid and balance UI automation with other tests.
• Collaborate with teams to maximize value of automated tests and coverage.
• Build scalable automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD for fast feedback.
• Shift-left quality by participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, automation, and defect analysis.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through intelligent automation.
• Investigate defects and drive preventative quality improvements with engineering.
