AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC, partnering with product, software engineers, and architects to embed quality from the start.

You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and champion a right-sized test pyramid with AI-assisted testing tools. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in quality engineering, hands-on experience with mobile automation, REST APIs, and

Formación

• 4+ years in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation (iOS and/or Android).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to understand product functionality and acceptance criteria, ensuring quality is built in at every stage of SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities, engineering practices, and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid by balancing unit, service, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand code changes and determine where automated tests add value.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks that integrate into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
• Promote shift-left quality through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, automation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization.
