AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software development lifecycle, partnering with Product Managers, Software Engineers and Architects to embed quality from the start. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and leverage AI-assisted testing tools.

The role requires 4+ years in quality engineering and hands-on experience with AI-powered testing approaches.

Formación

• 4+ years in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.
• Experience with automated testing across unit, API, and UI layers.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and service-based architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Drive a right-sized test pyramid, balancing unit, service, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to embed quality early.
• Build scalable automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative improvements.
• Promote shift-left quality practices and participate in backlog refinement and design discussions.
