AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC and partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects.

You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, champion a right-sized test pyramid, and leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization.

Formación

• 4+ years of software testing or automation experience.
• Proficiency with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation (iOS and/or Android).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with product managers, software engineers, and architects to embed quality at every SDLC stage.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid, emphasizing unit/service/integration tests over heavy UI automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand code changes and improve coverage.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote shift-left quality through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Use AI-powered tools for test case generation, automation development, and defect analysis.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort via intelligent automation.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative quality improvements.
