AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software development lifecycle. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and champion a right-sized test pyramid with AI-powered testing tools.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman, or similar).
• Ability to read, write, or debug test code or scripts (e.g., Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with PMs, engineers, and architects to embed quality in every SDLC stage.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid to balance unit, service, and UI tests.
• Collaborate with teams to improve code coverage and architecture for automation.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote shift-left quality through backlog refinements and code reviews.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test case generation and coverage optimization.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort via intelligent automation.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement improvements.
