AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC, partnering with PMs, engineers, and architects. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and leverage AI-powered tools for coverage optimization.

Remote-friendly, 4+ years of QA experience required. You will champion a right-sized test pyramid, reduce manual effort, and contribute to continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines

Formación

• 4+ years of software testing, quality engineering, or automation.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation (iOS and/or Android).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with PMs, engineers, and architects to embed quality at every SDLC stage.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid focusing on unit, service, and integration tests.
• Collaborate with developers to understand changes and improve test coverage.
• Build scalable automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD for fast feedback.
• Promote shift-left quality through backlog refinement and design discussions.
• Utilize AI-powered tools for test generation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort via intelligent automation.
• Investigate defects with engineering for root-cause analysis and preventative improvements.
