AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software development lifecycle, partnering with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to embed quality from the start rather than gatekeeper at release.

You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, champion a right-sized test pyramid, and leverage AI-powered tools for test generation and coverage optimization.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation (iOS and/or Android).
• Ability to read, write, or debug test code or scripts (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with product managers, software engineers, and architects to understand product functionality and acceptance criteria.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with business priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid to balance unit, service, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand code changes and determine where tests add value.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks that fit into CI/CD pipelines.
