Capgemini’s GPS Technology unit seeks a Senior Production Support Engineer to ensure stability of client connectivity and payments services. You will triage incidents, coordinate with engineering, infrastructure and vendors, and communicate impact and recovery steps clearly to stakeholders.

This role requires hands-on Unix/Linux, SQL, log analysis and experience with ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change and release management.

Formación

• Experience in production support / IT service management in a regulated banking environment.
• Strong IT infrastructure knowledge including on-prem and cloud and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, SQL, log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release).

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and support production services, responding to incidents and service requests within SLAs.
• Perform initial triage (logs, monitoring, data checks) and implement fixes or workarounds.
• Coordinate recovery activities with engineering, infrastructure, network, and vendors; escalate when needed.
• Provide timely updates on impact, recovery progress and next steps to stakeholders.
• Participate in change and release activities ensuring operational readiness.
• Join rota for out-of-hours support and align hours with service coverage needs.
