Synechron, a global consulting firm, is looking for a Production Support Engineer to help build reliable technology operations and drive incident management excellence.

You will monitor production services, perform triage using logs, and coordinate recovery with cross-functional teams. Strong ITIL practices, Unix/Linux, SQL, Kubernetes, and observability tools are required. Excellent English and collaboration across time zones are essential.

Formación

• Experience in production support or IT service management in a regulated environment (banking tech ideal).
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure across on-prem and cloud, including networking and service dependencies.
• Hands-on capability with Unix/Linux, SQL, Kubernetes, log analysis, and troubleshooting in distributed systems.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Patrol, or similar.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Release; strong English communication and global collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and support production services, adhering to SLAs.
• Perform initial triage using logs and data checks; implement fixes or workarounds.
• Coordinate recovery activities with engineering, infra, network, and vendor teams.
• Escalate high-severity incidents to leadership.
• Provide updates on impact, progress, and next steps to stakeholders.
• Contribute to post-incident reviews and root cause analysis.
• Create/runbooks and runbooks to streamline operations.
• Identify opportunities for automation and improved monitoring to reduce toil.
• Participate in change and release activities and assess risk.
