Senior Product Manager, Payments Platform & APIs

Job summary

Kraken, through Payward's Payments & Blockchain team, seeks a product manager to shape the future of its payments platform, covering the shared backend and integration surfaces used by internal clients (hosted pages, SDKs, embedded components and direct APIs).

You will partner with engineering to translate vision into a sequenced, high-impact roadmap, prioritizing across client needs, and driving end-to-end client adoption with clear rationale and governance across multiple entities and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with internal teams or developers
• Working knowledge of payments: pay-ins/payments rails, PSPs, banks
• Strong technical fluency; able to read RFCs and write API specs
• Experience shipping developer-facing products such as APIs, SDKs, or embeddable UI components
• Clear, structured writing that stakeholders can act on
• Ability to manage many stakeholders and build alignment without direct authority
• Comfort using data to set goals and measure adoption and performance

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for the Payward payments platform and its integration surfaces
• Map requirements across internal clients to evolve the platform's capabilities
• Collaborate with engineering to deliver a sequenced, high-impact roadmap
• Prioritize cross- client needs and communicate trade-offs
• Shape the client experience end-to-end from first convo to go-live
• Coordinate with banking/partnership teams for new PSP/bank integrations
• Incorporate compliance, risk and legal requirements early in the roadmap
• Define platform success metrics like time to launch and adoption rates
